I currently have no initiative idea; nor a grasped concept or perspective to look deeply into and detail. Instead, what I possess now is a theme or a mere image on which I have deliberately exerted a layer of dust and fog to be seemingly distant and out of reach.
As individuals, we each have a different idea of perfection; or a destination per say. The paths we choose or walk unwillingly are not always clear to us; the understanding of where we are headed or where we would like to reach. The image that our minds hold; the destination or desire that we crave, could change daily depending on our feelings; our moods and attitudes, but the concept is a constant thing. The concept is unchangeable; being that the image is your true "want", like an old photograph that lingers in your memory it hangs upon the walls of your mind and heart. Traces of old images left behind in you gather up daily to form the "image of the day" representing what you are thinking, feeling and craving.
One day your image could be that of a country house upon a soft meadow at sunset; a porch, a newspaper and a cup of tea; perhaps a calm lifestyle away from any distress. The next day, however, you could hang up an image of a set containing a briefcase of documents, a necktie, and an open file; career success?
The "image of the day" is what crosses your mind whenever there is nothing else to cross it, or perhaps whenever some mishap triggers it. It is wishful thinking and reflection upon a single desire at a time; obsessing over one thing for the day and then moving on to the other. But this deep pondering or perhaps long yet shallow and uncomplicated view of a single "thing" could grant a studied opinion and perception. Therefore, all is not lost; a series of ideas generated upon a lucid figment representing true aim or desire or want; though unorganized and may be chaotic, is of most productivity to the soul and very essence of a human being. In fact, a deep gaze into anything and everything, accompanied with all sorts of thoughts that one's mind could possibly come up with, is a necessity.
Our thoughts are not us; we are not what we "think". The things we seek might say much regarding our "selves" but do not signify us. The images that we must all hang daily to gaze upon and ponder are merely just borders; we are wild at mind and untamed at heart therefore paths must be bordered. Absolute and uttermost acknowledgement is the least we can offer ourselves in order to reach what we want. BREATHE smoothly and deeply; and exhale with relaxation and freedom. All is attainable when all is in sight.
